How Co-Pays Are Calculated
Your co-pay is based on your income as a percentage of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). The lower your income relative to the FPL, the less you pay. Some families pay $0.
Co-pay amounts are approximate estimates. Your exact co-pay is determined by DECAL during your application review. The daycare cannot charge more than your assigned co-pay for CAPS-covered care.
